Selecting A Real Estate Agent

When you dream of your dream home, what do you see ? Each of us have a vision of what it will be, but getting as close to that vision as possible is a practical, step-by-step process that begins with finding a Realtor.

Selecting a Realtor who will represent you and stand behind you in thess transactions may be one of the most important decisions you will make when entering the home buying marketplace. This selection process is just as important as selecting any other professional such as your family doctor, dentist, or attorney.

A Realtor will be your best ally throughout the entire home buying process. They can provide expert advice and help you determine how much you can afford, what kind of home you can buy in that price range, where it may be located, but most importantly ensure a worry-less and trouble-free transaction.

The individual selected should be working with you, keeping at all times your best interests in mind. That Realtor should be

directly involved in advising and counseling you with your real estate transactions and above all, this Realtor should have earned your trust. Without trust, your home buying experience is doomed to be an unhappy one.

HINT: Never select an agent based on what he or she claims to have sold or because they have the fanciest advertising. Have the agent produce a resume, ask them about their business philosophy ( are they a mega-agent that treats their clients as just another component in a long assembly line or will they give personal one-on-one service that will far exceed your expectations), and finally ask that agent if you can call some of their past clients and ask them about their experiences with that Realtor.

I would be more than happy to supply you with references from clients who consider me to be 'their realtor for life'! Just send me an e-mail asking for information on why you should choose me to assist you in your home purchase.
